Painful Joints 101
Arthritis is generally a painful inflammation of tissues in the joints due infection or concentration of crystallized, excess uric acid. If left untreated, arthritis can cause painful and disabling disfigurement of hands and/or feet. The best arthritis treatment is probably ingestion of anti-inflammatory medicines with painkilling components. Salves may help deaden the pain sensation but does nothing for the underlying cause of the condition.
